“Wonderful tour of the countryside around Dubrovnik. We especially loved visiting Cavtat. The day wound up with a delicious and copious lunch featuring melt in your mouth meat and potatoes traditionally slow-cooked with homemade fruit liqueurs and a terrific cheese and charcuterie board to start. The outdoor dining area was idyllic. Thank you Matti for showing us so many lovely spots, sharing all of your great stories and acting as our photographer as well. “Best tour guide ever, but we forgot to write down his name. Meeting point was other side of Dubrovnik, ill-described by the tour company. He kept looking until he found us in the hordes of tourists. Good listener with his own interesting story, retired from Zagreb police department after a tragedy, before he was 23, his present age. The excellent winery had been incorrectly scheduled. He filled the potentially wasted 30+ minutes with a picturesque and informative side tour. Sorry about the name. Sam?”

“Ivo was a nice guide and driver. He was very talkative and told us about Dubrovnik and the area aswell. He was on time to pick us up and gave us enough time for dinner. It is a nice area and it was nice to taste 4 different Croatian wines while trying some dried meats and cheese.”

“The “guide” was really nothing more than a driver. Provided very little information to no information about the sights. While he spoke English, he preferred to speak Spanish — luckily one of our party was fluent in Spanish. Worst thing is that the driver was a terrible driver, sometimes driving nearly twice the posted speed.. We had to ask him to slow down a couple of times. He did not maintain a safe following distance. At one point he had to slam on his brakes when a group of motorcycles came to a stop in front of him and he missed taking out one of the motorcycles by perhaps a…”
